And “SEE the sailor” is an interesting pun.

Wonderful way to wrap up this light-hearted piece, although do you mean: “To get to the top, you got to start at the bottom.” ?

Chance I am cracking up here! Not many writers can get away with dialect in dialogue, but you do it so fluidly. The whole story was great but I think my favorite line was the dictionary bit. Fun, fun, fun!
